Amazon Attribution is an advertising and analytics measurement solution that gives marketers insight into how their non-Amazon marketing channels perform on Amazon.

How to Create an Amazon Attribution Tag

  1. Log in to your Amazon Seller Central

  2. On the top left corner click the drop-down menu and select the option "Advertising" and then, click on "Measure Non-Amazon Ads"

  3. Next, click on the button that reads "Visit the advertising console"

  4. Once inside your Amazon attribution dashboard, simply click on the option that reads "Create campaign"

  5. On the next page, you will be presented with two options, "Create manually" and "Upload a file to create in bulk". Select the first option

  6. Next, in the "Campaign settings" section, you must enter the name of your attribution link. Under this section, you can enter the ASIN of your product and add your product to your campaign by clicking the "Add" button

Pro-tip: If your product has variations, you can add them in this section as well.

  7. Once done, you will need to enter the information for your ad group, which is where the attribution link will be used.

  8. Next, simply click on the top-right corner, in the "Create" button, and your attribution link will be generated:

  9. From the section "Attribution tags" you will need to copy from the URL what's between "?maas=" and before the "&" symbol

  10. Finally, all you have to do is paste it into the corresponding section in our Amazon URLs

Give it a chance!

You can optimize and plan your strategy based on what you know resonates with your customers and drives value for your brand on Amazon.

πŸŽ‰ Now you are ready to add your own Amazon Attribution tag!
